TIMOTHY’S GARDEN
Nurtured by Nature
We Cultivate Quality Over Quantity
We champion the most effective organic growing techniques and are guided by an ethical approach in all we do. For decades, we have been underpinned by an ethos of excellence and sustainability, with an eye toward producing the finest craft cannabis possible. Each of our strains is grown from imported, hand-selected cuttings, and every aspect of the cultivation process is meticulously overseen to ensure the healthiest, most robust plants possible. Post-harvest, we proudly ensure that every vacuum-sealed package that leaves our garden contains exquisite buds that have been lovingly trimmed, cured, and personally inspected for you, the discerning connoisseur, to enjoy.
No Chemicals, Fuller Flavour
Mass production of cannabis relies on synthetic nutrients and chemical pesticides to accelerate the growing process and boost yield – at a cost to the smell, flavour, and sometimes even safety of the end product.
Synthetic fertilizers force-feed plants directly. This cuts out the need for soil (which suits hydroponic producers) but reduces flavour and quality, causing bitterness and a lack of aroma. Synthetic nutrients are also manufactured from non-renewable resources, using large amounts of energy.
Plants like to have soil in which microorganisms live and thrive, breaking down nutrients so that they can be easily and naturally absorbed. This natural cycle enhances the aroma and the flavour of the buds. Organically grown plants rely on nutrients derived from natural sources such as manure, or bone meal.
Safe, Natural, and Pesticide-Free
All crops – especially if grown indoors – are prone to damage from pests, so mass producers spray plants with chemical pesticides. Yet medical marijuana dispensaries in the USA have already banned the use of many chemical pesticides, on the grounds that they have been shown to cause harm to the body – including cancer – and negatively affect wellbeing.
Instead of harsh chemicals, organic cannabis growers use predatory mites (such as amblyseius californicus) to prevent or remove infestations and protect plants from damage. Once their job is done (and their food source runs out), the mites simply die off, and the plants are left with no unpleasant or harmful chemical residue. It’s simple, natural and effective.
Carefully Cured for Optimum Quality
Drying and curing cannabis correctly is essential to the quality, texture and aroma of the final product. Rapid high-volume production methods simply spoil the taste and smell. Like wine-making, it takes time – in this case, up to three months for a premium finish.
Drying should take place at around 70°F (21°C) with 50% relative humidity.
Curing takes place inside glass jars, at the same temperature, with a slightly increased relative humidity of 58-65% inside the jar.
